Dr. Rosas named National Kidney Foundation's President-Elect; also receives prestigious Distinguished Leader Award from American Society of Nephrology
Dr. Sylvia E. Rosas, a nephrologist and epidemiologist at Joslin Diabetes Center was named President-Elect of the National Kidney Foundation with a term to begin in October 2022.
Dr. Rosas is also the Director of Joslin's Latinx Kidney Clinic, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Rosas was also recently selected as a recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Leader Award by The American Society of Nephrology.
This award is presented to outstanding professionals who are dedicated to improving the lives of people with kidney diseases. This work includes advancing research, treatments, and patient care, as well as mentoring trainees and junior faculty who will continue and build upon their pioneering work.
