Dr. Kyoungmin Park focuses on investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying insulin’s action on the vascular wall and developing new therapeutic drugs for macrovascular complications, atherosclerosis in Type 2 diabetes. Additionally, working to determine the role of autoimmunity or autoimmune disease in the severity and development of atherosclerosis in Type 1 diabetes, diabetes-related disease, including cardiovascular disease.
