About the Epidemiology of Diabetes Intervention and Complications Study

The purpose of this research trial is to study the development of the major long-term complications of Type 1 diabetes among the volunteers who participated in the Diabetes Control and Complication Trial (DCCT) and the first 12 years of the Epidemiology of Diabetes Interventions and Complications Study (EDIC).
