Volunteer Opportunities

We are starting a new study to better understand what causes type 1 diabetes to help find new ways to prevent or reverse the disease.

This study is being done with researchers at Harvard Medical School and is funded by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

For this study, we are seeking people with type 1 diabetes who were diagnosed under the age of 7 years. We also need people without diabetes. This study involves one visit (30-45 minutes) to the Joslin in Boston.

The study visit includes the completion of questionnaires and a blood draw. Parking reimbursement and a small compensation is available.
